Tesseract

Have you ever heard of Flatland?

Well if not, prepare to get excited about this fiction novel by Edwin Abbott from 1884 because not only is it historical social commentary on Victorian culture but it is one of the most accessible teachings on mathematical dimensions, guaranteed to tweak your interest in the 4th dimension.

I won’t bore you with my interpretation or explanation as nobody explains things better than Carl Sagan, well maybe Neil Degrasse Tyson……. or Brain Cox……. or Dr Michio Kaku, well let’s just we have some great science communication now and enjoy the video.

If you want a copy of the original Cosmos you can get it here

Oh and one more thing, my new favorite word is Tesseract 🙂

Also check out Flatland the movie – every kid should watch it!
